Past the middle of the month and it’s time I caught up with Clare’s Share Your Desktop challenge…

Let’s deal with the mobile phone side first – no change from last month!

Ok – Onto the Gaming PC… Once more Lily stars as she’s seen hauling farm machinery through Arizona…

..This is I-17 and we’re approaching Camp Verde where we’ll deliver this Krone Swadro windrower to a farm. The Krone farming tools are newly released as a DLC into the game and this was taken on the first day they were available. As for Lily, our Kenworth W900 – She usually wears a green and white paint scheme but we’re doing our bit for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and flashing the Pink. You can also see the pink ribbon hanging in the cab 🎀😎👍

Over to the Photo PC and an image that I captured on September 19th. The story behind this one has been told in my ‘Stalking‘ post. I even included a close up shot of the individual Class 222 unit in that post. But this is a ‘train in its environment’ shot. We see 222003 crawling south through Cricklewood in the beginning of Autumn, though the weather on the day was more ‘last days of Summer’. You can see the heat haze blurring everything around the train – an effect of a strong telephoto lens. Behind are the new housing blocks of West Hendon and also Brent Cross West Station while on the right Thameslink units rest in Cricklewood depot….

…It’s one of those desktop shots that I will struggle to replace as it means a lot in so many ways😎👍

  1. I do like the train photo and thanks for the info as well Martin 😀

    1. Thanks Brian 😎👍 There’s the artistic school of photography that says the image should speak for itself. My images tend to be documentary and as such some commentary is a good thing. But, I do think it stands on its own as a photograph 😊

  2. Lily certainly does star – although I had to zoom in to see the machinery she’s hauling 🤣 (but that’s just my eyes getting old). Thanx for joining in, Martin. Sorry it took me so long to get here.

    1. np Clare – I believe you were on your travels 😎👍

      1. I was, but I’ve also been home for some time looking after my sick husband. HE’s all better now thank goodness.

      2. That’s good to hear Clare 😎
