A couple of days into the new month and it’s time for me to take part in Brian’s Last on the Card challenge.

No shots with the mobile phone again this month.

On the Canon EOS5D mkIII I have a footy shot of sorts…

…but no players or pitch! Taken on my journey home from our match against Corinthian Casuals at Tolworth. This pair of Class 455 units will be my train back to Waterloo – They’ve just got to go to Chessington South first and then reverse. They’ll be back in around 20 minutes๐Ÿ˜‚ And – if you’ve been following events on my blog, you’ll know that they should really be a ghost train by now!

Last on card for the Fujifilm X-Pro2 is a shot from a train…

…Unfortunately with too many reflections to be of much use๐Ÿ™„ My train is running into Blackfriars station and the tight curve allows for a view of the office blocks on Blackfriars Road. These have all gone up since I used to work in Colombo House a little further down the road, so I need to visit and familiarise myself with the area again๐Ÿ˜‚

As usual, photos unaltered except for resizing for the internet.

  1. These are wonderful Last Photos incorporating all the elements looked for in the challenge. A bare footy pitch would have been a classic. Thanks for joining in Martin:) ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks Brian๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘A bare football pitch would have been a bit contrived as a last shot for me๐Ÿ˜… The trains serving Tolworth go straight past Corinthian Casuals ground so you can photo them when there’s a lull in the play๐Ÿ˜‚ Here’s one – https://www.flickr.com/photos/martin_addison/52791193663/

      1. What! The cameraman having his mind wander to the nearby railway line. Having the trees as a frame is brilliant Martin ๐Ÿ™‚

      2. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ – Having the camera on burst mode for the footy allowed me to pick a well framed shot๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘

      3. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‚
