Following Nancy’s lead for this Challenge, here are a couple of street shots that I took recently…

  1. Love the girl on the phone. 🙂

  2. Black and white really adds something special to what might be considered a street scene. I do like the way you spotted the woman with the cell phone in the foreground. There was a lot going on in that frame, and you captured it nicely!

    1. Thanks Debra 🙂 Fortunately I saw her coming from a fair distance away. Someone could have walked between us but they didn’t so I was lucky there!

  3. I thought it was images from FInchley, not Knightsbridge. Only Joking. Nice photos, I think the second captures the streets of London nowadays very well.

    1. LoL 😉 Thanks very much 🙂

      1. You’re welcome. I’ve been doing a bit of B&W recently. I don’t know what it is about the medium, but it’s seems to accentuate the subject rather than take from it as some people think.

      2. I agree – there seems to be more depth to a B&W image that has nothing to do with depth of field in the photographic sense. I guess it removes the distraction of colours that attract the eye’s attention away from the intended subject?

      3. I agree, it focuses on the subject more.
