I’ve always thought sports shots make for great mini-stories within a larger narrative.

I agree Amy – each moment is a microcosm of the game as a whole 🙂 I’ve got a trainee photographer with me at tonight’s game. He’s doing a photography course (Degree level I think) and he’s looking to get experience of sports photography. I’ll try not to lead him astray 😉
