Last on the Card – September 2025

Start of a new month and time to join in with Brian’s Last on the Card challenge 😎

Working oldest to most recent we begin with the Fujifilm X-Pro2 and a shot taken on September 5th. It’s the start of the evening rush and a virtual peloton of cyclists wait for the lights to change on Farringdon Street…

On September 10th the Moto g50 was called into action to illustrate a Bluesky post showing a book I’m re-reading – Chickenhawk. If you haven’t read this one, it’s time you did!..

Moving on, we come to September 25th and a screenshot from Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 of a Mazda RX-3 at the salvage auctions…

…I was hoping to buy this car for renovation but the bidding went too high 🙄

Finally, we actually have a real photo as the last on the card this month. Taken on the 29th as I rode home from Upper Holloway on a 263 bus, I have a shot of a 143 climbing North Hill in Highgate…

…The hill is a lot steeper than the shot suggests! The photo is a little indistinct due to the glare from the laminations of the glass – I’ve salvaged this to make an acceptable shot for bus fans on Flickr 👍
