Now Dan wants some low angle below shots – Let’s see what we can find for this weeks Fun Foto Challenge 😎👍
Back in 2015 Kingstonian FC were based at their Kingsmeadow ground in Norbiton. The ground was unusual for the Isthmian League in having sunken terracing at one end allowing photos from close to level with the playing surface. A Kingstonian striker passes our keeper Bobby Smith but failed to score on this occasion…
…Kingstonian would win 3-2 on the day.
Also below the surrounding ground level for this one…
…A walk on the bed of the River Thames at low tide in Isleworth.
A dead Oak in a field of Oats…
A Class 313 unit on a Kings Cross to Hertford North service at Grange Park…
Wires and a winter sun at Willesden Junction…
Long’s of Leeds DAF XF at Ealing Broadway…
66721 ‘Harry Beck’ comes off the flyover at Lewisham on an Acton to Tonbridge West aggregates run…
Margate FC’s ground is another where it’s possible to be lower than the players as the surrounding land dips sharply away from the pitch. In this shot Wingate & Finchley’s Luke Deslandes gets a cross in from the wing…
…On the day Margate won 2-1 but it wasn’t enough to save them and they were relegated the following weekend while Wingate & Finchley made it to the play-offs.
Finally – Here’s my Son, Alasdair, receiving his degree certificate…
