Some time ago I promised Tom, The Palladian Traveler, that I would post an image of myself with my Wingate & Finchley Woolly Hat. So, here it is along with a couple of other hats 😉

super hats martin! i have wondered what a tilley hat was … looks very practical … thanks for showing me 😉
Tilley Hat – Bush Hat. Very much the same thing Christine but Tilley’s are made to last a lifetime and to be left in your will for someone else to enjoy 😉
🙂 good one Martin.
Cheers Dan 🙂
You have quite the hat collection and the complete ensembles to go with them! Great! Number 3 is my favorite. That’s a great hat. With all the sunshine and skin cancer concerns here in sunny California it is shocking how few people wear hats! My husband and I almost never leave home without one. I could use a more interesting variety I think…you’ve inspired me! 🙂
Hi Debra – That third one was bought for District Cub Camp. The theme was Cowboys and all the leaders were required to have a cowboy hat and also a check-shirt for the campfire. The ADC who was running the camp was called Sheriff for the weekend. Rather than get one of those cheap ‘fairground’ hats I decided to push the boat out and buy a good one – It will be going to all our Cub and Scout camps in future 🙂
I agree about the sun – the two Friendly football matches I’ve been to this season have been in very hot and sunny conditions. The Tilley hat has been ideal for those 🙂
Bravo, Martin! Excellent shots, excellent hats. I really enjoyed this 🙂
Thanks Kate – Glad it gave you a smile 🙂
This is funny! I don’t know, just looking the same but with different hats on. Liked it though 🙂 Well done.
thanks – if it gave you a laugh it was worth the effort 🙂
Love those hats Martin! Esp Scout one-beautiful quality
Thanks 🙂
Somehow I missed this post. How could that happen? This is the best ever!
A good game, maybe — name the movies that this person is appearing in.
Some possibilities:
True Blue, A Documentary
Mount Kilimanjaro or Bust!
No Law West of Santa Fe — except Me!
LoL – all too easily Judith when I’m on a roll and posting several times a week 😉
Name some movies…
Bend it like Beckham? Or perhaps – When Saturday Comes (that’s a football newspaper over here).
Indiana Jones and the Lost Boot – One of my fellow fans was calling me Indiana Addison after I posted this 😉
Eldorado “Might have recognised you anyhow if I wasn’t trying to figure out what that other fellow’s got on his head” “It’s called a hat” “Well I’ll have to take your word for it” Arthur Hunnicutt and James Cann aka Bull and Mississippi conversation 😉
