Whilst my transport images are normally 100% true to the subject Debra. In other forms of photography it’s sometimes advantageous to remove something that is there or to add something in that wasn’t 😉

Kind of a Zen image flashed into my mind reading this: the photographer becomes one with the camera. In which case, the liar photographer and the liar camera are also one.

The camera can only lie by imperfections that it introduces caused by mechanical defects Judith. But I, the photographer, can lie in so many ways. Choosing an angle to cause misinterpretation of the subject is one where the camera and photographer are working together. But there are so many in the post processing arena which the camera is totally innocent of 🙂 Thanks for the Zen thought Judith – of course, becoming one with your camera is key to getting shots of fast moving subjects.
One of our regular fans, Squirrel (So called because he has been known to shin up the floodlights to change a bulb in the past) usually greets me as ‘Camera never Lies’ 😉
