   Beautiful! This home looks like one with some interesting history!

      Thank you – sadly it is only a matter of time before it is demolished to make way for new developments at Kings Cross. It has the grime of over a hundred years from the days of steam trains to the modern world. Who knows how many people have called these desperate refuges, in one of the notorious areas of London, home…

      Thanks Daphnée – I wouldn’t be surprised if it is haunted. Kings Cross had a reputation for being a rough area dating back to Victorian times. I believe murders were quite common 🙂

   Interesting how the odd off angle accentuates its lostness —
   I can well believe in the rough stuff, maybe even the murders. Can’t all be post-processing, can it?

      Hi Judith, the angle was chosen in-camera at the time of shooting to achieve something of the air of loneliness surrounding the building. No, I don’t think it’s all post processing either 🙂

      Thanks Kate – I guess times must move on (though no one is mourning the removal of the 1970’s abortion that was built on the front of the station hiding Cubitt’s simple classic design) but some people will feel that the soul of the area is being ripped out.

   I also really like the way you’ve ‘angled’ the building backwards… really gives me the feeling of fading / falling away / down / back to an earlier time…

      Thank you – I was trying to emphasis the delapidated state of the building when I chose to convert it to B&W 🙂
