Judith – It was England when I last looked…In fact it’s within a 10 minute walk from my home! But I might have been a bit drunk at the time 😉 Then again, the camera never lies unless we encourage it to produce half-truths!

Thanks Arindam – We’re having a very hot week (by English Spring standards) – 28 degrees in the shade with the threat of heavy thunderstorms tonight. Just got back from a local walk with my Cub Pack, so glad of a cold drink and a few minutes in front of the computer.
I hope you are able to fulfil your wish of sampling an English Summer. A couple of my developers are off-shore (in Kolkata) some of the time and then come here for specific pieces of work. I’ll have to ask them what they make of the English summer 😉

Thank you Bob – I was pleased with how the process really brought out the wildness of the sky. It’s something that can be very difficult to achieve with a camera on a single exposure but using HDR allows us to blend several exposures to achieve something closer to what the eye can see. Of course, painters have been doing this for centuries!
