What a great entry for the theme Martin ,Nice shot 🙂
Thank you Jake 🙂
I need to put my thinking cap on. All I’ve come up with so far was a song … by somebody else. :(. You’ve come up with some interesting takes on ‘blue’ … so appropriate. I love that blue door. Beautiful!
Thanks Marcy – Joni Mitchell’s Blue album and Status Quo’s Blue for You did come to mind and I bet your Blue song was neither of those 😉
You’ll have to drop by and find out. 🙂 But so far, you’re right. You can scratch ‘The Moody Blues’, too. 🙂 See you soon, I hope. 🙂
Especially like the blue door in the last shot!
Thanks – That blue does sing out in the equatorial sun. We don’t normally get such rich blues in the UK 🙂
just loved the blue door….
the picture is a winner!
Thank you Sheetal – I wasn’t totally happy with the composition but it seems that the people like it so I guess it’s about right 😉 I hope you are keeping well:-)
Blue sky, blue sea, blue door… This picture is beautiful. Wingate & Finchley’s jersey color is blue; so I am hoping that blue must be your favorite color. 🙂
Thanks Arindam 🙂 I probably don’t have a favourite colour. I love the green of the leaves on the trees, the red on a London bus and the blue on my team’s shirt… and just about any colour in between. I guess it’s a matter of context about whether I like a colour – if it’s a green Hendon FC shirt I hate it 😉
terrific…love the first one, and the second…oh and the door. Heck I love them all
Jo – nice to hear from you and I owe you a visit! Glad you liked the photos 🙂
Love the blue door. Where does it lead?
Out to the sea as befits a blue door… The building is a ruin 🙂
Very cool.
All wonderful.
But should have expected that first shot, Up the Blues!
🙂
LoL – thanks Judith 🙂 The team finished mid-table so it was a successful first season at the higher level.
Great entry, the blue door is stunning, the footie one made me laugh and I love the Blues and Royals one. xxx Ailsa
Thank you Ailsa 🙂

Martin, what a great collection of UK blues! That blue door to Tenerife is so inviting . . . . 🙂
Isn’t it just Patti 🙂
You must have been thrilled by the theme for this weeks challenge, Martin!
As we are by your entries, of course!
🙂
LoL Bob – yes… Come on you Blues 🙂
I don’t know if I’ve told you this before or not, but the professional hockey team in St. Louis is called the Blues, too, Martin! Kind of interesting!
🙂
You hadn’t, so thanks for the info Bob 🙂 Any chance of a photo or two of them?
I wish I had a few to share, Martin! Maybe some day!
🙂
Good enuff 🙂
Lovely entries! I especially like the last one. Those blues are stunning. 😉
Thanks AD – it’s that glorious near-equatorial sun making the blues sing out 🙂
Exciting and fun. The third is my favorite. Like a door leading to paradise…”Blue Sky, Blue Sea, Blue Door.” Cool post my friend!
Thank you – Sadly it is the only bit of paradise left in the overtly tourist targetted southern Tenerife.
This is a great action photograph my friend
and I hope that you are enjoying your photography 🙂
Androgoth
Thanks Androgoth – Yes, I am. Hope you are keeping well 🙂
Great photos!
Thank you Charlene 🙂
