You obviously know just where to position yourself to best advantage. Your son looks very happy — does he dream of running one day? Or will he be content with his own camera out there like dad?-
Hi Judith – Thanks 🙂 I don’t know what Alasdair will do when he’s older. At the moment he’s more into reading, computer, tv and math than physical activity (although he will come out for photographic walks with me). Hopefully he’ll get more into sport when he goes to secondary school. His interest in photography comes and goes…
Positioning myself is a mix of experience and luck – the shot of the red-head presented itself as I moved through the crowd. The one of the runner greeting his wife on the way round the course was just luck 🙂

Hi Marcy – thanks 🙂 The atmosphere was brilliant with everyone cheering the runners on. You couldn’t hear yourself think in some of the locations around the course!

Thank you – I tried to mix it up with some of the dedicated medical crews and other people around the course rather than just the runners to provide additional interest 🙂

Thank you Theresa – the one thing I couldn’t bring you was the noise around Canary Wharf. The spectators play their part in helping the runner get around by cheering them on and in Canary Wharf it’s almost impossible to hear yourself think!
