Running a little late with Brian’s Last on the Card Challenge this month. I didn’t get to use the Fujifilm X-Pro2 this month and my activity was seriously limited from July 21st due to a Covid infection.
First up was the last shot of the month taken on the Fujifilm X-H2s…
…This ‘nothing shot’ was taken at our home pre-season friendly against Aldershot Town back on the 20th of July. The game was a 2-2 draw. I missed the following three games due to my illness, returning to duty yesterday.
On the Moto g50 I have a rather different shot…
…Taken on the Lane on the 23rd of July at the end of one of my morning walks. It must be Buzby’s nesting seasonπ For those who don’t know what I’m on about, Buzby was a cartoon bird used by Post Office Telecomms and later by BT to advertise phone services. So whenever we saw a tent erected over a footway box we used to joke that Buzby was nesting again. It’s unusual to see a tent with guarding set up and it suggests to me that the engineer is splicing in a new section of cable which will take quite a while. I took this for one of my morning photo tweets and you will guess that the shot was heavily cropped before useπ€£
Both shots as taken, just resized for the web.
