Share Your Desktop – October 2023

Mid month and time to join in with Clare’s Share Your Desktop Challenge 😎👍

First up it’s my Gaming PC and an early morning shot of Dog heading north through California…

…after just crossing the Richmond Bridge with a load of Mortar from Los Angeles to Eureka. Dog is looking ‘Pretty in Pink’ because we’re driving for ‘Breast Cancer Awareness Month’ in both Truck Simulator games throughout October👍

On the photo pc I have this contre-jour shot taken at Kings Cross Station…

…Grand Central unit 180106 accepts boarding passengers for Bradford. There have been issues with these Adelante units since they first entered service with GWR – long before their current term working for Grand Central – and it’s rumoured that they will soon be replaced with Class 221’s released by Avanti on the West Coast mainline (2 of which are currently on loan) – Sometimes tales of unreliability are more about enthusiasts likes and dislikes than reality. We wait to see what will happen. Makes for a nice brooding photo though… 😎

Two wonderful photos again, Martin. Still shaking my head at the realism of those VR graphics, but I love that contre-jour shot taken at Kings Cross Station – WOW! Thank you so much for sharing these with me and (as usual) joining in on the SYD fun.
