Man, Tall in Black, leads horse
Long Gun; Longer shadow
Outlaws sought and Bounties
Paid in blood red Dollars
The bitter past revenged

Small town America; Reduced to small screen
Cinematic dusty streets,
Saloon and Outlaws, gone
Bounties Paid on delivery
Of every commodity but death

On grainy computer tarmac
Trucker drives 500 horses
Silver Dollar Freightliner
Seeking the railroad depot
Where the dark tale began…

  1. I’ve heard of Tucumcari, bathed to Google to identify the location! Looks like a smooth ride!

    1. My FLB, ‘Silver Dollar’, is quite twitchy on the steering when compared with my conventional trucks. But she’s a fun drive. Tucumcari is only known to me through the beginning of the film ‘For a Few Dollars More’ where Lee Van Cleef stops the train before disembarking with his horse. It was interesting to drive down to the rail depot and compare the roads through town with the real world equivalent as you did πŸ™‚ SCS have to make a lot of compromises due to the scale but I think they captured the feel of the place quite well.
