Apart from having a Flickr account and running this blog, I have been submitting images to the Geograph project since 2006. Whilst the majority of images are freshly taken the site welcomes historic images and I have been going through some of my old boxes of slides this week and uploading images that I felt were of interest historically. Let me share a few…

Eastfield TMD - 20117 sits on shed between duties in 1976. A few class 20's remain in service but not this one. Eastfield TMD which opened in 1904 was closed in 1992 and demolished. It rose again from the ashes as a new maintenance shed for the units on the Glasgow - Edinburgh route in 2004.

A pair of 20's drift through Woodhouse Station - little has changed here - but the buildings are now painted a rather bright shade of red!

RML2300 at Henlys Corner - very close to home but a rare shot with Henlys Garage visible - the garage was demolished in 1989. The 102 still runs but with Enviro 400's rather than Routemasters
